Is anyone else as excited as me about the recently announced JustFaby Abbey Dawn collection set to debut next month? I saw a story posted the other day on Just Jared announcing the news and must say that I am floored!

Having been a huge fan of Avril Lavigne (and of course, Just Fab too!) I think this is a match made in heaven. The JustFab Abbey Dawn lineup will have 12 different shoe styles and five handbags. Four color designs will be exclusive to JustFab. Of course, all items will be for sale at JustFab’s normal pricing of $39.95. Abbey Dawn is kind of a rock and roll style with bolder designs, so it may not appeal to everyone but I am really looking forward to it personally. A sneak peek on the JustFab website lets you have a look at couple of their Abbey Dawn/Avril Lavigne designs and I like what I see so far! There is a hot looking leopard print boot which really jumps out at me. Can’t wait to see the rest and make my first order!

For the price, you really can’t go wrong. Even if you are a bit shorter and find they are too long you can always get them hemmed which shouldn’t cost you very much.

I was lucky enough to snag the “You’re so Vain” cosmetic case set before it was sold out. It was on sale for $39.95 and looked to me like a nice way to keep all of my makeup and cosmetics organized when going away. I just so happened to be looking for something like this for an upcoming vacation so it worked out perfectly. I didn’t get the pink polka dotted one pictured above though and instead went for the leopard print. It appears to be made of canvas and it looks like it should hold up to some wear and tear.

They’ve also offered a watch, boot and a special boot/umbrella combo but I didn’t order any of those. All items were priced for $39.95. If anyone has ordered any FABfinds, feel free to post your comments below!

You may not have read my in depth review on JustFab, so if that is the case and you don’t really know what it is all about I will give you a brief overview. It is esentially a shoe of the month club where you have your own personal stylist choose handpicked shoe styles out for you each month. If you see something you want to buy you can purchase it for $39.95 with free shipping. If you don’t find anything you really love you can always skip that month and pay nothing.

While JustFab started out as just a shoes service, they now also offer a selection of handbags to you each month as well. I have seen a number of different styles chosen for me in my boutique and they all seem to look very trendy and stylish. If you are a handbag lover and want to expand your collection, this is a great way to do it for a reasonable price!

I will admit that my shoe addiction far outweighs any addiction I might have for handbags, but in my 7 months of being a member I did notice a couple of handbags that I found to be way too cute to pass up. I couldn’t figure out how to post my own photos on here so I will include a couple of photos from the official JustFab site of the handbags I have purchased…

The first one that I bought is called Satire and is pictured below:

This was just my style and I loved the look of it when I first saw it. The thing about the handbags are that it is tough to tell how big they are just from the picture so you will have to look at the dimensions listed on the site to get a better idea of how big they will be. Thankfully when this arrived it was the perfect size for me. It is definitely a handbag and not the type of purse you would sling over your shoulder (although it did come with an additional clip on strap to be used for this purpose.) It seems to be very well made and the stitching all looks great. I have had this particular bag for over 4 months now and it’s one of my favorites for everyday use so I have used it quite a bit. There haven’t been any wearing issues with it so far and it looks as good as the day I bought it. The material still looks very nice in person and feels very nice and smooth to the touch. What I love most about it is that it is still somewhat small but has a lot of cool hidden pockets and compartments.

My second JustFab handbag purchase was Saga which is pictured here:

This one is definitely much bigger than it looks like in the photo but I knew this before I ordered after looking at the dimensions of it. I really love the style and have gotten a number of compliments on it. In person it looks like it should have cost way more than the $40 I payed for it and my friends were kind of shocked when I told them that I got it from JustFab for that price. I use this one when I need more room for things as there is a TON of room inside. I’ve only had it for a couple of months so I haven’t used it as much as Satire but so far it has held up fantastic and still looks/feels awesome!

To conclude my review of JustFab handbags I have to say that I am very impressed so far with the purchases that I’ve made to date. I would love to hear from some other people out there who have had a chance to buy and try JustFab handbags. Feel free to leave your comments below!

I have been a member at JustFab.com since close to the beginning when they were known as Just Fabulous and I decided to write an in depth review on my experiences with them so far as well as create a place where other JustFab members can post their own reviews about this unique service, good or bad. So if you have tried them out, post a comment below and let us know the good, bad or ugly about your experience with them!

This review is fairly detailed, so if you just want to read a summary, click here to go to the bottom which sums things up in a few sentences.

Without further ado, here is my JustFab review!

Introduction

For those of you who may not really know what JustFab is all about, I will give you a quick run down. When I talk about it to my friends I like to call it my “shoe of the month club”. But really, it has since evolved into an overall fashion destination and offers more than just shoes. But, the main draw to the site is still their shoes.

Upon becoming a member at the site, you get your very own personal stylist who picks a selection of shoes and handbags out for each month. The selections are actually based on your tastes. (How do they know your fashion tastes? I’ll explain that below…) Even though they offer more than just shoes, I still mostly buy shoes so I will mainly focus on that aspect during this review.

As I mentioned, you will receive selections each month from your stylist. You then choose a pair that you like from these selections and they ship them to you for free. If for some reason you end up not liking them or they don’t fit, you can send them back for an exchange at no cost to you. Each pair of shoes costs only $39.95.

The whole idea and process is pretty straight forward… You do a quick survey that asks you to choose between certain shoe styles, celebrity looks and asks a couple of questions. Each month your personal shoe stylist will pick a selection of shoes based on the answers that you provided during your quiz. I have been very happy with the results and my selections are always usually pretty spot on. I am into flashy, larger 3 inch plus heels and have been seeing quite a few of them come up each month when my new selections arrive.

Now, if your stylist chooses shoes that you don’t particularly want to purchase, you are not forced into buying anything. Even though it is a club they give you the option of skipping the month, so you can opt-out if you don’t want to buy anything and save the $39.95. However, if you are new to this site you need to realize that if you don’t buy anything AND you forget to skip the month by the 6th of each month, they will automatically charge you $39.95. This will turn into a credit that you can use towards a purchase whenever you want.

You are not limited to the shoes that your stylist picks out for you. They are always releasing special collections and have a shopping area that has hundreds of styles, so there is definitely a wide variety of shoes to choose from.

Okay, that sounds great. But what are JustFab shoes like?

Now that you know how the service works, the next part of our Just Fab review is to take a look at the actual shoes themselves. I must admit, when I first signed up I was a bit worried about the quality of shoes that I was going to recieve. But for $40 I figured it was worth a shot. I am a shoe addict and my thinking was that if there was a chance I could get some decent shoes at $40 a pop I would take a chance and try it out to see what they were like first hand.

My first order arrived (The Jezzebel) and when I opened the box I was quite impressed. They looked much better than the photo on the site and at first glance they looked stunning and appeared to be of very good quality. The stitching looked great and overall they looked like they really did not appear to be $40 shoes. In fact, I wore them out that weekend and my friends were shocked at the price tag when I told them I had only paid $40 for them.

But as you all know, looks aren’t everything when it comes to shoes. I am not the type of girl who can walk around in uncomfortable shoes for any amount of time, so I need something that I can actually wear and feel comfortable in for a long time. This first pair I got have a pretty large 5 inch heel on them and they were still pretty comfy to walk around.

As the months go on, it really seems like the quality of the JustFab shoes (and handbags) I’ve ordered continues to get better and better. I’ve ordered at least one new pair of shoes every couple of months and the materials and construction are very, very impressive now. Color me one impressed, happy, shoe lovin’ gal!

They seem to be standing up to the test of time too. Jezzebel, which was my first purchase still looks awesome today!

Review Summary

To conclude my Just Fab review I just want to say that I have been very happy with my overall experience with this service since I became a member. The process is quick and painless and their shoe stylists continue to choose awesome shoes for me month after month. The quality of all the shoes I have received so far has been top notch and you can’t beat their prices for brand new designer shoes! They are very comparable to shoes I’ve bought in the past at department stores for 100+ dollars.

The price is amazing at $39.95 and the free shipping and free returns/exchanges makes it that much better. No need to worry if an item doesn’t fit as you can painlessly send it back for an exchange free of charge. The return process is super easy too and the in handful of times I’ve had to use their 24/7 customer support number I’ve been very pleased with the service provided.

I honestly can not think of one negative thing to say and I plan on staying a member for quite some time.
